They basically posit a question like “What if Venom had possessed The Punisher?,” “What if Wolverine battled Conan the Barbarian?,” or “What if Aunt May became the Herald of Galactus?” Dan and Kris discussed “What if” scenarios for Metal Gear, Metroid, and the video game industry as a whole. Dan and Kris are back from break and ready to kick off the New Year with a brand new Game of the Year award show: The Golden Caveman Awards. (Because the JGLD joke finally got old). The guys count down their top 5 games of 2019, culminating in their choices for which ones get the coveted Golden Caveman. In the top half of the show, Dan actually found time over the break to play games. Lots of them! Including Death Stranding!
